frogkin Was immediately hooked on the music. I had no idea what to expect, no preconceived notion of what it would sound like. It’s so great to make this new discovery. Great music, multi layered and unashamedly progressive. Fantastic songs, beautifully constructed, played and sung. Get some 4xl T-shirts made Please!

I’m a big noise at the Sierra club, I’ve hiked the Appalachian trail, I’ve stood on top of Denali, I really don’t know how to fail It’s the altitude not the attitude, it was a most beguiling flyer, but you can stand on top of the world coz’ the yellow brick road got higher Here I am, with the lawyer and the scientist, the Republican evangelist, on the shoulder of the sky All these freaks, well they’re ruining my appetite, here’s the money honey socialite I’m a heartbeat from the top, I turn around and then, when I get to the bottom I am never going up again Caught in the gridlock on the Hilary Step, and only three hundred feet to go, and there’s no app on the I-phone that can save me from the snow Nobody told me I could be this cold, should have read the fine print way back when, and I wonder if I’ll ever see my wife and kids again All used up, hope the Sherpas get me out of here, I’m at the mercy of the troposphere, damn it I can hardly crawl Jesus Christ, I’m not one of those Tibetan guys, you said that I’d acclimatise, and a heartbeat from the top I turn around and then When I get to the bottom, when I get to the bottom, when I get to the bottom When I get to the bottom, when I get to the bottom, when I get to the bottom When I get to the bottom, when I get to the bottom, when I get to the bottom When I get to the bottom, when I get to the bottom, when I get to the bottom
2.
Don’t Talk About When you talk to me, I soak up every word When you look at me, I just don’t know what’s hit me When I look at you, you look the other way What’s the matter, what’s the matter with me You look so good tonight, get that innocent smile of your face, get that smile of your face Don’t talk about love, then make war Don’t talk about hate, that is not worth fighting for Don’t tell me that peace is your mission Another day lost, will you make the decision Don’t talk about love and then make war When I hear your voice, I shiver nervously When I watch you move, I just can’t stop the shaking When you look my way, I have to fight for air What’s the matter, what’s the matter with me You look so good tonight, there’s a cynical look in your eye, there’s that look in your eye Don’t talk about love, then make war Don’t talk about hate, that is not worth fighting for Don’t tell me that peace is your mission Another day lost, will you make the decision Don’t talk about love and then make war I sleep by myself tonight, I live on my wits tonight, does making me wrong make you right I’ve run out of valium, and my equilibrium, I’m so calm I could kill, but each day I die

My Dark Passenger Excuse me all over the place if I'm acting out of turn But you see I never learned to take a powder And switch off that innocent face ‘cause it makes my stomach churn It's like someone sprinkled chilli in my chowder Spare me you say for your charming young wife And you swear you'll return to a civilised life And you're putting up a fine show of resistance But you’re shit out of luck ‘cause I've been on your trail Here's a bright red medal I can pin on your tail And you've never met a man of my persistence Just blink your eyes if you're able, and I'll carve right here at the table Some vigilante, I'm whacked-out out and weird beyond repair And you won't forget me, as long as I cut a deal with my dark passenger Don't think I do this for fun or it keeps Miami clean But if I don't vent your spleen I might go under Aren't you the fortunate one ‘cause I compromised the scene And I mean to steal my own department's thunder In this tricked-out house of correction, another blood slide for my collection Your vital organs are trapped in my blender of despair, like Mr. Morgan I'm hoping to cut a deal with my dark passenger In this tricked-out house of correction, another blood slide for my collection My primary colours are sangre de cristo, sacre bleu You've got a million dollars Then maybe I'll cut a deal with my dark passenger
4.
The Check 06:22
The Check Look here comes the invisible choir and I sing with the singers When I rattle my collection plate it's like a thousand drums And to the motherless freaks in the crowd I'm the king of the slingers And I'm selling you a tractor beam in case the rapture comes No need to hide behind the bible they skip right over the T and C Scroll to the bottom and click I agree And the irony's delicious they're paying for the boat with the helicopter pad on the deck And the taste is sacrilicious cos no one gets to vote, 'til the great celestial waiter says it's time to pick up the cheque Watch me preach the prosperity gospel the myth of creation We're a million little rabbits in your cabbage patch And send your grocery money to me for a shot at salvation Pray to every lottery ticket that you scratch. We're modifying your behaviour, the lines are open but you can't get through A busy signal for the fools like you And you're waiting for the money that the saviour saved for you 'cos the sharks are swimming close to the wreck And it isn't milk and honey that trickles down on you And the great celestial waiter says it's time to pick up the cheque I'll blame and shame you and scold you had every sign post on your search Get this its Jesus that told you to give your money up to this guy's church Insert an appropriate straw man that I can setup for the fall And that's right I'm breakin’ the law man I went through the Valley and climbed up the mountain, Stood on the summit and looked for the fountain of youth But there was just a big long drop. Now my prayers go unanswered, so hey what's the harm in hitching my wagon to Dawkins and Darwin and the truth? It pays to keep your options open
5.
Stand Together We could feel your eyes on the back of our heads Watching as we walked out the doors You look right through us, beaming out your control It's been a long time coming, and we’re feeling the heat We’re praying for the rain to fall Our back’s to the wall and we can’t take much more But no-one warned us about you, they never said that you were a fool You don't know nothin' about us, and you don't even care what we do We started readin' and then started beleivin' Change is the only way Only time will tell if we're strong enough And time it begins with today All my life I’ve waited for this moment, all fired up, this is where I wanna be If we wake up we can stand together, lock their dogma in their ivory tower All my life I should have tried harder, all fired up, this is what I wanna be If we wake up we can stand together, asked and answered if we stand fast Do you see? Don't give us that look, don’t sell us those lines Don't give us those whipped up lies You’re all crocodile tears with an Alligator smile Like lambs to the slaughter, your’e leadin' us on We can’t resist your bull You’re a wolf in sheep’s clothing Not little Red Riding Hood We started readin' and then started believin' Change is the only way Only time will tell if we're strong enough And time it begins with today All my life I’ve waited for this moment, all fired up, this is where I wanna be If we wake up we can stand together, lock their dogma in their ivory tower All my life I should have tried harder, all fired up, this is what I wanna be If we wake up we can stand together, asked and answered if we stand fast Do you see?

Said the mountain to the lake, you must never act in haste, think it over And the lake well she replied, you are too old to decide, and I like to fool around, think it over Then heaven smiled, an idea forming, deep inside his mind and he said We all say We are, we are, we are, we are All of your world now belongs to us We all come from the great sky above Learn to live with all the gifts that we bring We are Pure Fate Star Shadow Said the thunder to the wind, you are root and branch within, think it over And the wind well she replied, you are too fast to decide, take a little time to think it over Then earth smiled, a life gestating, always growing, deep inside her We all say We are, we are, we are, we are All of your world now belongs to us We all come from the great sky above Learn to live with all the gifts that we bring We are Pure Fate Star Shadow Said the water to the fire, you’re the flower of desire, think it over And the fire she replied, you are deep and dark inside, move towards the light and think it over You are us now and forever, we are you always together We all say We are, we are, we are, we are All of your world now belongs to us We all come from the great sky above Learn to live with all the gifts that we bring We are Pure Fate Star Shadow

Excuse this lack of judgement but I’m always being told It all comes down to timing but mechanics leave me cold Forgive this gross incompetence, this can’t go on for good Clandestine smiles and glances, I’d ignore them if I could Realistically it would be wise, to call on medical advice Performance anxiety, performance anxiety Clean platonic friendships are the safest ones to keep Physical necessity deprives me of my sleep I can’t see for looking, I was never that radical Hope against all time is with me, pray for a miracle Biologically the clues all fit, I even found a name for it Performance anxiety, performance anxiety Nothing’s so important that I haven’t time to care I sometimes start to wonder if I’m past medical repair Seek out imperfections, and eradicate the flaws Diagnose the symptoms and eliminate the cause But my analysis has shown, I’d be much safer on my own Performance anxiety, performance anxiety Some folks they say, they’re about to lose control Love’s labour’s lost, it’s out there on its own All those are fools who deny their chemistry Nerve centres buzz, emotion takes a hold Nerve centres buzz, emotion takes a hold Performance anxiety, performance anxiety Why do you think this is happening to me? Why do you think this is happening to me? Why do you think this is happening to me?

I can see all I want to see I turn away again, and gaze inside of me This world keeps turning in my hand My life it sails on by, but not as I had planned Though it can’t be, you’re still with me The past is gone, it’s time to go And when those memories come bouncing down the hall The house that Jack built set me free Sometimes I wake up lost and torn, pour solace over me Then wide awake, I take a look, to see what I can see The world’s still turning in my hand Get up, get out, get on, get real, I think I understand Though it can’t be, you’re still with me The past is gone, it’s time to go And when those memories come bouncing down the hall The house that Jack built set me free I try to push back time, but it keeps on pushing me The past is gone, it’s time to go I can see all I want to be I turn away again, and gaze inside of me The world’s still turning, in my hand Get up, get out, get on, now I understand I still try to push back time, but it keeps on pushing me I am your son, I say goodbye And when our memories, come bouncing down my hall The house that Jack built, set me free There’s still time for me

Poster Boy 04:17
London’s a giant gift-store, it’s cheap and vulgar and crude Get my stuff from the thrift-store, soon I’ll be working for food Believe me that I’m hoping that some aliens, hoping that some aliens will blow this planet of its axis I’m planning my revenge on the world, I becoming a poster-boy for raging paranoia I’m planning my revenge on the world, wipe it out in a righteous fire like Shiva the Destroyer I’m broke I’m mad I’m angry, another flaming torch for the mob There’s no point channelling Gandhi, unleash you’re inner Ty Cob Pray for the zombie apocalypse, zombie apocalypse to strip the dead-wood from this nation I’m planning my revenge on the world, I becoming a poster-boy for raging paranoia I’m planning my revenge on the world, wipe it out in a righteous fire like Shiva the Destroyer I used to be a good little soldier, but lately I’ve been listening to the voices in my head They’re telling me an outbreak of famine and pestilence, famine and pestilence will cull the surplus population I’m planning my revenge on the world, I becoming a poster-boy for raging paranoia I’m planning my revenge on the world, wipe it out in a righteous fire like Shiva the Destroyer

See roads roll into view Now, you have to choose Put your hand in my hand, and cross this stream of life All that you are, all that you’ve been, all that you love, all that you’ve seen What will you become Don’t you know the answer, is in your mind all the time Will, we be as one Walk the same road, walk the same road So now we fall into the well of time, we can’t escape now I live the same song, with a different rhyme, I can’t escape now And it takes all I have, to reach sight of what I have not As I stumble and climb from this hole Still the time marches by, in the wink of an eye I’m not here or there, I’m with you Fool me, another day gone, moments I’ve lost, so much for me Cool me, facing the day, finding my way, so good for me We stand, kissed by the rain, loved by the sun, can we be one This day, stealing a kiss, too good to miss, moving away What if you’re wrong about me darling What if I really care for you What if I just don’t show it What if I can’t get through Let me make it easy for you darling Let me spell it out for you Follow me down the road Walk with me down the road Follow me down the road, and I’ll come back for you I’ll come back for you Dig deep, steadfast we stand, right time to plan, time now to act Big ask, mean what you say, say what you mean, do as you can Is there time Is it time now Can I make it alone Being me There is hope Always tempered Often founded in doubt Sometimes me I ……, see it all and see nothing Falling through the cracks, I reach out a hand, where are you I ……, feel it all and feel nothing Calling out again, I offer my hand, can you see Any minute now I’ll stab the dark to find the answer In the length of time it takes to think, I’m none the wiser When all is said and done I am the one I have to answer I feel it in my bones, I grind my teeth, I have an answer They say heaven can wait, but I just don’t see it that way, Lost in space, in my mind, such is life In the cold light of day, making all the same old mistakes I’m not here or there, I’m with you See roads roll out of view Now, I have to choose All that I am, All that I’ve been, All that I love, All that I’ve seen What have I become Will, we be as one Walk the same road, walk the same road Walk the same road, walk the same road

about

‘THE SWAN CHORUS’, written and performed for you by The Swan Chorus

"This is really, really good! A breath of fresh air to be honest! It blows a lot of stuff that’s out there away!" - Tony Patterson

"Every now again purely by chance you stumble across not only something appealing, but more than likely a true unsung pioneer in their chosen genre. The album is pleasing and inviting from its very first note. Washes of synths and punchy guitars compliment the excellent vocals. Melodic, strong hooks make this a pleasing proposition for any fan looking for a departure from doom laden prog metal. This is an album I can not only wholly recommend but will continue to enjoy. Infectious Prog, You now have your own sub-genre!" - Dave Hilborne

"There are too many reasons to love this record... This voice!!! and that keyboards. Awesome" - Reiner Röbisch

"Quite a few hairs on the back of the neck moments" - Steve Petch
